About Me

Who I Am

About Me

I'm Karson Allen, also known as Healing Hands Barber, from Burlington, KS. I found my calling in barbering at 17, realizing its healing power. A good cut boosts confidence, allows a heart-to-heart with your barber, or simply fulfills your desired style. My gift is in my hands, and I'm passionate about "fading it forward." Barbering is my way of creating greater good in the world—one fresh cut, one listening ear, and a word of encouragement at a time. No matter who's in my chair, I aim to make them feel like celebrities. While some heroes wear capes, I choose to drape mine over my clients.

Fun Facts

Outside the shop, you'll find me cooking, enjoying outdoor activities, elevating my mindset, or spending time with my large family. Also, I have quite the collection of fragrances and colognes.

Years of Experience

I started cutting hair in 2019 at home and have been licensed since November 2022.

Training & Education

Headlines Barber Academy is where my foundation was built. It's where I first learned the craft, but real skill came from cutting hair day in, day out. I strive to excel in modern and classic styles, detailed shear work, and versatile fades and designs.

Why Barbering?

My motivation to become a barber was a path revealed to me when I first picked up clippers. It became more than a job; it's about bettering myself daily in this role and offering more than just a haircut to my clients.

Work & INspiration

My work is a satisfying visual art; I find peace in crafting styles that meet the diverse needs of my clientele. Meeting people from all walks of life and sharing my gift is what I live for.Someday, I aim to own my own barbershop, becoming a cornerstone of my community just like OFC. I want to "fade forward" the blessings I've received, inspiring others as I go.

They call me "pit stop" for a reason—efficient yet meticulous, ensuring every client leaves feeling sharp and satisfied.
