About Me
My name is Dominique London, but most people know me as Nique. I’ve been braiding for six years and have a true passion for stitch braiding. Outside of the shop, I’m a dog owner who loves to travel. I enjoy entrepreneurship just as much as giving back to the community, and I look forward to having you in my chair for your next appointment.
Fun Facts
Nique’s favorite candy is Now & Laters. She’s a proud dog mom, enjoys traveling, and is currently continuing her education in cosmetology school.

Nique is self-taught, learning her craft at a young age by studying techniques and practicing on family and friends. What started as a natural ability quickly grew into a passion, shaping the unique skill and attention to detail she brings to every client.

Why Barbering?
Nique chose braiding because it allows her to uplift others. She loves seeing clients leave her chair feeling confident, excited, and ready to take on everyday life while looking their best. She takes great pride in her work, believes in giving back to the community, and is passionate about being a positive, confidence-building presence for her clients.
Work & INspiration
Nique is inspired by her big cousin, the owner of the barbershop. She started working with him in high school and was inspired by his mindset, work ethic, and approach to entrepreneurship. Having him as a mentor has played a big role in her growth, and she looks forward to continuing that journey alongside him.

Stitch braids are my specialty. They’re one of the most detailed and challenging braid styles to perfect, and through experience and dedication, I’ve mastered the technique. I take pride in delivering clean, precise stitch braids that not only look great but last.
I truly believe barbering is about more than just hair — it’s about confidence. My goal is to help clients feel their best by really understanding the look they want and bringing it to life. I also take pride in being a listening ear for my clients, from kids to adults, because everyone deserves a safe, comfortable space where they feel heard and respected.
